Gofta information department;
The initiative of creating an avenue where those that are neglected despite their effort in striving to make sure that the majority of people in the society is heard and noticed, was conceived and delivered by the man that has seen them suffers, on quote he says “I have seen them with my eyes. Nobody told me! The farmers that suffers under the scourging sun and the pouring rain, these farmers accommodate the inconveniences caused them by various kinds of insects and biting ants in the farms. Even the flying creatures in the forest which is the office of these unprivileged food baskets of the nation.”
These group of people toil the lands with bare hands, no government subsidy. They weed by themselves, fell trees with bare hands, plant and weed in sweat and pains; they don’t have vehicle for mobility not even fairly used ones given to them by the government or those in authority. The richest among them only have bicycle as their fastest means of transport.
It is vehicle they used to transport their produce from the farm to the market. If they are to pay for a rented vehicle, all their profit will go for it. When the goods now get to the markets, these Unthinkable leaders shamelessly go there and acquire it for their consumption in a cheaper rate. This is a practical experience of Mr. Agbonlahor .O
The feisty agent that stand solidly behind all gofta farmer, in order to exonerate these food producers from oppression, is Gofta world group limited. This group seeing the cause the governments at all level are taking against these people, decided to intervene and tell the world what these farmers are undergoing. And to tell our brothers/sisters at home and abroad to do their best to removing these people from being treated as slaves in their own fathers’ house.
Hence, the information department was set up. This comprise the lunching of the Society’s website and the setting up of the news magazine segment of the group.
